Carol J. (LaDuke) Zuberer, age 88, of Lenexa, KS passed away on January 24, 2023. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 20, 2023, with memorial service at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40213. Inurnment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Louisville, KY.
Carol was born on December 10, 1934 in Louisville, KY, the daughter of Carl LaDuke and Katherine Kuhlman LaDuke. She was a loving and devoted wife of 51 years, mother, pastor’s wife, pianist and nurse. She graduated from Norton School of Nursing with a B.S. in Nursing 1956, as a Registered Nurse. Her Nursing career included Baptist Hospital, University of Louisville Student Health, as well as various clinics and Home Health Care in Western, KY.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Donald L. Zuberer.
Survivors include her son, Paul (Ginny) Zuberer, Lake City, FL; daughters, Kathy Hunter, Lake City, FL and Lynn (Stephen) Bogart, Overland Park, KS; grandchildren, Matthew Karschner, Rebekah Lutsch, Chris Bogart, Amy Bogart, Erick Zuberer, Carrie Zuberer, Madeline Zuberer; and great-grandchildren, Toni, Lilly, Jordan, Kaylee, Ameeri and Jaleel.
