

Christine M. Hamilton, aged 64 of Linn Valley, KS passed away peacefully at the Hospice House in Olathe, KS on December 25th, 2015 after a short health battle. Visitation will be held at 1pm, Saturday, January 2nd at McGilley & Hoge Johnson County Memorial Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS 66204. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2pm. Christine graduated from Westport High school in 1970 and moved to Lawrence, KS where she married and had her daughter, Shaunna. After divorcing her first husband she worked at Sallie Mae in Lawrence until she was transferred to Panama City, FL in 1991. She loved the gorgeous white sand beaches and being near the ocean. Moving to Wichita, KS in 1994 to be closer to family she met and married Jesse in 1996. She began working at Attic Storage in 2001 where she met many, many friends over the past years. She loved to sing karaoke and cherished her grand-daughter, Julia and fur-babies, Daisy, Jody, Bobby and Charlie. She was also and always will be a diehard Chiefs fan. Christine is survived by her husband, Jesse, her daughter Shaunna, Patrick Tuller (husband) and their daughter, Julia; her mother, Marilyn Banes; her siblings, Connie Pennell of Walnut Grove, NC, Sharon Harris of Paola, KS, Pam Guerra of Kansas City, MO, Mike Banes of Gardner, KS and Jim Banes of Lake Waukomis, MO. She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Banes in 2011. She also leaves behind numerous other relatives and dear friends. Christine was a shining light to all that knew her - truly a mother to all those she touched. Always so good, unselfish and kind, few on this earth her equal we find. And while she lies in peaceful sleep, her memory we shall always keep. Donations may be made to the Hospice House in Olathe (913)791-4216.
