Colleen M. Lawton Pattison

Colleen Marie (Roeckers) Lawton Pattison, 84, Richmond, TX, passed away June 2, 2014 at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital in Katy, TX. A Memorial Mass will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 5 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 16000 W. 143rd, Olathe, KS. Visitation will be from 1-2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 6 at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS, followed by a Rosary Service. Graveside services and burial will be at 4 p.m., Friday, June 6 at Saint Columbia Cemetery, 159th and Moonlight Road in Gardner, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Association or to the American Heart Association.

Colleen was born March 3, 1930 in Downers Grove, IL. While living in the Kansas City area, she was retired from Yellow Freight System, Inc. and subsequently volunteered/worked at Quintiles for several years. The last few years she made her home in Richmond, TX.

Colleen was preceded in death by: husband, Harry O. Lawton; daughter, Pamela M. (Lawton) Shuman; husband, Lawrence C. Pattison; parents Marion (Stein) and Arnold F. Roeckers; sister, Phyllis (Roeckers) Hendrickson; parents-in-law, Floyd D. and Ruth B. (Higdon) Lawton; and brother-in-law, Warren Lawton. She is survived by: daughter, Rita K. (David, Sr.) Dobyns; daughter, Deb Lawton; son, Gregory J. (Traci) Lawton; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Evelyn (Vernon) Pickert; brother, Robert Roeckers; and brother-in-law, Hank Hendrickson.
