On Monday, April 13, 2026, we lost our Husband, Father, and Boppa. Derek Jon Majors was born on July 19, 1952, in Omaha, Nebraska. He is survived by his wife Molly, sons, Ryan (Liz) and Andrew (AJ); and grandchildren, Mason, Finn, and Marek Dru.
The family invites all that wish to join them on Saturday May 2, 2026, at McGilley and Hoge Funeral Home, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, Kansas 66204. A visitation will be from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm with a tribute to Derek starting at 3:00 pm. The post-game will be held following the tribute at The Other Place Bar and Grill, 7324 West 80th Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66204.
