OBITUARY

Donald Jake Alley

April 11, 1937February 2, 2011

Donald “Jake” Alley died February 2, 2011 at Evergreen Community of Johnson County after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Dr, Overland Park, Kansas 66204; with a visitation preceding the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow services at Oaklawn Cemetery, Olathe, Kansas.

Jake was born April 11, 1937 to Baker and Evelyn Alley. He lived most of his life in Chicago, Ohio and Kansas City working as an architect and designer. He graduated high school from Richard Teller Crane High School in Chicago.

Jake was preceded in death by his parents. He is loved and will be missed by his brothers: Eugene, Robert and John Alley; sisters: Jackie Billings and Judy Zervic; daughter, Beth Billing; sons: Paul and Steve Alley; grandchildren Amy, Matilda and Claire Alley, Joshua Hill, Kyle and Eric Taylor, Cory and Katherine Billing; and great grandchild, Tristan Alley.
