Doris Howard

Doris Howard, Overland Park, KS, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2010. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, July 20, at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park. Visitation will be from 10-11 preceding the service. Doris was born to Ralph and Ina (Young) Kramer on a farm in Westphalia, KS. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1944. She worked for Colgate Palmolive for 34, retiring in 1988.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert McDaniel, and second husband, Larry Howard. Also preceding her in death were her parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and stepmother.

Doris is survived by a step-daughter, Carol (Russ) Bomberger of Prairie Village, KS; 2 step-sons: Dan (Jan) Howard of Stockton, MO, and Bruce (Wanda) Howard of Mission, KS; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 3 nieces. Please offer condolences at mcgilleyhogememorialchapel.com.
