Dottie's life was a reflection of her deep faith and enduring kindness. She found joy in serving others through volunteering, singing in the church choir, and participating in Bible studies and support groups. Her spiritual devotion guided her throughout her life and touched those around her.
She dedicated many years to raising her three children at home. She worked as a dental hygiene assistant, in various retail positions, and later with Home Care and Hospice. In a testament to her perseverance and love of learning, Dottie earned a degree in journalism from Kansas State University in 1998.
Her hands were rarely still—she enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, traveling, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
Dottie is survived by her siblings Curtis (Judy) Harouff, Marie Starbuck, and Ellen (Gary) Martin; her daughters Kara (Mark) Friel and Dana (Kevin) Muse; and grandchildren Kate, Max, Sydney, Leeya, Alex, and Gianna.
She was preceded in death by her son Nathan Muggy and brothers Norman Harouff and Robert Harouff.
Dottie's legacy of faith-filled service and love will remain a guiding light for those who knew her. May she rest peacefully in the presence of the Lord she so faithfully served.
