Edward Gonzales Morales

Edward Gonzales Morales, 81, of Bonner Springs, Kansas passed away November 6, 2016. A visitation will begin at 6:30pm, Thursday, November 10 at the American Legion-Post 370, 7500 W. 75th St, OPKS. Arr. McGilley & Hoge, 913-642-3565. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society.

Edward Gonzales Morales was born in Nursery, TX on April 9, 1935 to Martha Gonzales and Salvador Morales. He was married to Joyce E. Thompson for 53 years. He is survived by his wife; son, Mark Morales; daughter, Michelle Thompson, and four grandchildren- Jessica Thompson, Alex Thompson, Audra Morales and Lukas Kroeker. He is also survived by one sister, Gloria Marble, St. Petersburg, FL. His most memorable moments in retirement years were on the family farm where he had his horse, Corky; pony, Bucky and his dog, Skippy. He enjoyed his 4th of July cookouts. He enjoyed fond memories with all of his friends, and many fun times at the Lake of the Ozarks.
