Ethyl Faye Whited

Faye’s open visitation will be on Saturday, November 11th from 10:00am to 11:30am at the McGilley & Hoge Chapel. Following the open visitation there will be a service for family due to spacing at 11:30am.

She was born on December 4, 1944, in Goodman, Missouri. Faye will be fondly remembered as a caring and loving mother and friend during her life. She had the sweetest smile and giggle that could lift anyone’s spirits. She was a great all-around cook and loved doing it. She was also an avid golfer and bowler, participating on numerous teams. She also loved hummingbirds and enjoyed watching them at her feeders when she resided in Las Vegas.

Faye was preceded in death by her spouse, Vaughn Whited; mother, Clara Boyer; sister, Jane Boyer; three brothers, Bruce Hudelson, Guy Boyer and Donald Boyer.

She is survived by her children, Jeff Overman (Jeannette), Debbie Sims, and Joe Overman; 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; one sister, Jessie Eggleston and three brothers, Danny Boyer, George Boyer and Joe Boyer.
