Harry served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and was a Vietnam veteran. After his service with the Air Force, he worked for Macy’s and Westin Crown Center Hotel. Harry was a long time member of Ascension Lutheran Church, serving on many boards and committees. He also did volunteer work at the Good Shepherd Mission and the WWI museum.
Harry is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Audrey Newkirk. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Hohman and a son Raymond Hohman.
Visitation will be at 9:00 am followed by funeral services at 10:00 am on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Ascension Lutheran Church, 4900 Blue Ridge Blvd. Kansas City, Mo. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm in Horton Ks. Please offer condolences at www.mcgilleyhoge.com.
