Jack was born on January 8th, 1948 in Tonganoxie, Kansas to Junior Thomas and Clara Spencer.
Jack was an avid fisherman and lover of nature. He spent as much time as possible outdoors and loved communing with the animals and working in the yard. A Craps Dealer for most of his career, he worked at many prestigious casinos in Las Vegas, Lake Charles, and Kansas City, touching many lives along the way. Math came easily to him, and he never met a card game he didn’t like. As a sport enthusiast, Jack was always rooting for his home teams, the Chiefs and the Royals.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Bob and Shirley.
He is survived by his siblings, John Spencer and Betty Nunn; his children, Jack Spencer, Paul Spencer, Gregory Spencer, Stephanie Dal Porto, Toni Grieve, Jason Spencer, Robin Letsinger, Andrew Spencer, and Nicholas Spencer; numerous grandchildren and his best friend Gerilyn Viscek.
