Dear Mary, Chip, and Pat,
Have been thinking of you these past few days and especially of your Dad. Last year, after my dad's services, he hopped into the car and joined us at our house. It was really special to have him there. He always was a great sport ... remember interviewing him for a high school paper on fears. We both laughed! He'll be missed by all! Take care. Janine O'Shea

Pat, my heart breaks for you and the loss you're feeling. You're parents were our parents (class of 1980!). We were all grateful to have had the chance to know them. What an amazing couple! You know how blessed you were to have them as parents, so remember that when you're feeling sad or lost. I love you Pat, always will. Your friends, especially our gang, will be hear for you and for each other...... till the end. X0

To Jim's family,
New to KC, we met Jim and Eva in the early 60's and Daris & I immediately became friends. We lived in Kansas City for about 4 years but that was long enough to develop a lifelong friendship. We moved back to Little Rock but always stayed in touch with Eva and Jim. Jim was one of the nicest men I ever knew. He was an absolute joy to be around and it was impossible to be gloomy in his presence despite how you may have initially felt. His humor and wit was irrepressible and the memories of shared moments will never be forgotten. He was a man and his was a friendship which I shall never forget. He truly was one of the great human beings I have known in my life. Sincere condolences to the "kids" and grand-kids. Jim and Daris Barre'.
