James E. (Jimmy) Watson, 46, Overland Park, KS, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 8 at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 7023 W. 71st Street, Overland Park. Inurnment will be at Resurrection Mausoleum, Lenexa, KS. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 7, at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS. Jimmy was born May 26, 1964, in Kansas City, MO. He attended elementary school at Queen of the Holy Rosary, and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School. He was employed in the restaurant and construction industries. Jimmy was especially skilled at working with his hands, making jewelry and wonderful models of buildings.
He is survived by two daughters: Kilee Rachelle Watson and Elizabeth Amy Watson; his parents: James A. and Janet L. Watson; a sister: Deborah Lynn Nave; grandfather: Edward M. Gabel; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
