Joan J. Meyer, 71, Overland Park, KS, passed away October 4, 2011. Funeral services will be noon, Friday, October 7 at McGilley & Hoge Memorial Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS 66204, with burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday, Oct. 6 at the funeral home.
Joan was born in Kaiser, Missouri. She was a substitute teacher at Turner school district for several years. She will be missed by her family as well as friends at Trinity Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edrie & Charles Roberts and also her first husband William McReynolds. She is survived by her children Mark McReynolds, Kathy Lynn, Chris Meyer and Robert Meyer; 10 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
