Joan B. Mroz

Joan B. Mroz, 78, Overland Park, KS, passed away on March 14, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM, Saturday, March 17, at Church of the Holy Cross, 8311 W. 93rd Street, Overland Park. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM, Friday, March 16, at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or to the Arthritis Foundation.

Joan was born February 11, 1934 in Chicago, IL, to parents Anthony and Rose (Cygan) Radziejewski. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Thaddeus J. Mroz; sisters: Theresa Motkowski and Barbara Czarnik; and by a brother: Ronald Radziejewski. She is survived by her children: Deborah (Chip) Presley, Steven, Phil, Patty (Denise) Mroz, Tony, and Nancy (Greg) McKean; by her grandchildren: Ernie (Erika) Presley, Amanda (Brad) Kozlowski, Angela and Jessica Hopkins, and Thomas and Jessica McKean; by great grandchildren: Miles, Owen and Delilah Presley; a sister-in-law: Loretta Mroz; a brother-in-law: Frank Motkowski; and was a dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.
