

Laure Potter passed away on December 9, 2017 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center at the age of 62. She was born on February 24, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Lester and Phyllis McGreevy. She graduated from Kapaun Mt Carmel High School and was married to her devoted husband Doug on November 3, 1984. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister along with being a dear friend to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by all of us who have been blessed to have her in our lives.
Laure was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in law, Lou Potter; sister, Pam Crosby and brother-in law, Dirk Wright. She is survived by her husband, Doug; daughter and husband, Kelly & Dan Bishop and grandson, Jackson Bishop; father-in-law, Bill Potter; brothers, sisters, in-laws and spouses: Tom and Tami McGreevy, Debbie Wright, Suze & Gary Freeman, David McGreevy, Mark & Joy McGreevy, Brian & Sherryl McGreevy, Wayne and Brenda Potter, Debbie Fahrbach; step-children, Paul Potter and Sonia Potter and their children: Aaron Fisher, Logan Potter, and Deanna Smith, and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at 9:30 AM followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 15th at Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, 7023 W. 71st Street, Overland Park, KS. Private Inurnment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her name to the Wichita Children’s Home, 7271 E. 37th St. N., Wichita, Kansas 67226.
