

Les was born June 4, 1935, in Burdett, KS, the son of Lester and Hazel Bauer. He was united in marriage September 18, 1955 in Burdett to Bernie Plush.
Les served in the Army before graduating from WSU in 1959, in which time he began his career with IBM which expanded over 35 years.
Les was an avid golfer, it was his passion. He also loved to dance, tell a good joke, and boat on the lake.
Lester is survived by his wife, Bernie; three children, Kelly and wife Billie, of Overland Park, KS; Kayla Lindeman of Overland Park, KS, and Kristi Kramer and husband John of Olathe, KS; three grandchildren, Ryann Hemphill and husband Nate, Chase Lindeman and Cheyenne Lindeman; and one brother, Grover Bauer and wife Judie of Tulsa, OK.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 6 pm on Sunday, May 22nd at the McGilley & Hoge Chapel, with visitation from 5-6 pm at the chapel prior to the service.
