Martin O'Connor, 55, of Overland Park, KS, passed away February 20, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 25, at 10a.m., at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5500 Woodson Rd., Mission, KS; with burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS. A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 24, from 5-8p.m. with a prayer service at 7p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Pius X Church. He was born November 11, 1957, in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from St. Pius X grade school, Bishop Miege High School and Park College. Martin was employed by AT&T for 38 years. Marty was a joyful spirit who loved his family, friends, traveling and his home at the Lake of the Ozarks. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, and his brother, Gerry. He is survived by his mother, Shirley; his sister, Karen; his brother, Phillip (Robin) and his niece, Carson.
