Nadine Joyce Heying

Nadine Heying, 82, of Overland Park, Kan., passed away on December 28, 2011. Memorial Services will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, at the McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Dr., Overland Park, KS 66204. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 3846 W. 75th St., Prairie Village, KS 66208. Nadine was born on Aug. 4, 1929, in Liberal, Kan. She was a member of President/Past-Presidents, on the board of the Home Owner's Association, also participating in many varied volunteer activities. She enjoyed her involvement with many social organizations, including bridge clubs and garden clubs. She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Heying of Overland Park; son, Larry J. Wright of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Linda Highley of Harrisonville, Mo.; son, Michael Wright of Edwards, Mo.; step-daughter, Cheryl Heying of Salt Lake City, Utah; step-son, Rick Heying of Overland Park; step- daughter, Barbara Anderson of Saint Louis, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy Mead and brother, George Wallace, both of Pratt, Kan.
