Norma Louise Phegley, age 82, of Lenexa, KS passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Funeral Services will be 12 pm on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at McGilley & Hoge Chapel with visitation from 11am-12pm prior to the service. Burial in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens. The family suggests memorial contributions to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care.
Norma was born on December 12, 1931 in Paola, KS at her grandmother’s home. She married Richard Phegley on September 27, 1951. He preceded her in death on February 28, 1986. She worked for Richmond-Gordman for 16 years. Norma loved cooking, music, dancing and gardening. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Norma will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her three daughters, Connie Broockerd, Susan Wilcox and Cathy Murphy; six grandchildren, Jason, Jillyn, Amber, Doyal, Breana and Jesse; along with three great-grandchildren, Haley, Caiden and Izsabella.
