

Our beloved mother, Pauline Johnson, died peacefully on October 15, 2010 at her home in Mission, Kansas. She was born July 27, 1919 in Vermillion, Kansas, and was the last child of Jesse and Warda Dover. Pauline grew up in Garnett, Kansas and graduated from Garnett High School in 1938. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Jessie Vitt, Monte Dover, Dorman Dover, Myron Dover, and Winona Daugherty; and husbands Robert Moody and Fritz Johnson.
Pauline leaves behind daughters Rebecca Green and Lucia Johnson; grandchildren, Kim (Scott) Cain, Kristine (Doug) Fees, Jim (Lori) Green, Kasey Green, and Kerry (Joe) Maschino; great grandchildren, Jessica Cain, Courtney Cain, Kader Fees, Klayton Fees, Kalynne Fees, Tyler Green, Jordan Green, Dalton Green, and Kellie Green; nieces and nephews, Dale Vitt, Dolores Chevalier, Shirley Thompson, Frances Dover, Connie Jones, David Sherlock, Cindy McGill, and Stuart Sherlock. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Bella and Daisy.
Pauline worked at many jobs throughout her life, retiring from the Missouri Council for the Blind. Her salaries put food on the table, a roof over the head of her children, and a college education for her daughter Lucia. Pauline was a woman of generous spirit, love, and compassion. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

A Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Garnett Cemetery, Garnett, KS.
