Bob exemplified servant leadership and will be greatly missed by family & friends. He passed away on Dec. 6, 2018. Bob was a lifelong resident of Overland Park and the current longest member of the OP Presbyterian Church having joined at the age of 12. He was a Korean War Army veteran, Kansas State graduate, member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, retired after 40 years, as regional sales mgr., from Marely Cooling Tower, & member of ASHRAE. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan. He is survived by son Doug Hahn, Colorado Springs, CO; daughter Carol Engleman and son-in-law Dana Engleman, Overland Park; grandchildren David Hahn, Whitney Hahn, Reagan Ward (Eric), Drake Engleman (Jordan), & Luke Engleman (Kendra) along with four great grandchildren. His visitation will be on Wed., Dec. 19 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at McGilley & Hoge. The service will be Thur., Dec. 20 at 1:00 PM at the OP Lutheran Church, 7810 W 79th St., OP, KS. Burial, with full honors, will follow at Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bob’s refugee, Deanna Rose Children Farmstead.
