Robin Louise Peterson, age 64, passed away on September 2, 2025. Visitation will be 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 9th at the McGilley & Hoge Johnson County Memorial Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, Kansas 66204. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 10th at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 7023 W. 71st Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66204. Burial in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 8321 Quivira Road, Lenexa, Kansas.
Robin was born in Merriam, Kansas and remained in the local area her entire life. After receiving her degree from KU, she spent her entire career in the Insurance profession. Robin loved spending time with her family and friends. She adored her pets. She enjoyed planting and growing her flowers and plants. Robin will be deeply missed for the love she gave to those she cared about.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur "Bud" Peterson and Yvonne Peterson.
Survivors include her brother, Rick Shine; sister, Debbie Super and nieces and nephews.
