Rose Marie Parisse, age 71, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on Monday, August 12th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Rose grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, as one of thirteen children. She attended Guardian Angels Catholic Grade School and attended Westport High School. She began her career at Jackson County Courthouse before transitioning to the National Archives and Records Administration where she worked for 40 years, retiring as a Management Analyst. Rose took great pride in her work ethic and her accompanying service to the federal government. Rose and Vince DeLuca married in 1984 and their only child, Alex DeLuca, was born in 1990. She had a gentle, nurturing spirit but she was also passionate and honest. Rose’s greatest joy in life was spending time with family; whether it be watching movies, getting together for Sunday dinner, Chiefs games, weekends at the lake, or get-togethers at her pool. She was well-read and was always eager to find her next book. The strength and perseverance that Rose displayed in the face of adversity was a testament to her character and an inspiration to those around her. Rose found purpose, direction, meaning, hope, and comfort through her Catholic faith. She remained steadfast in daily prayer for herself and her loved ones.
