I'm so sorry for your loss.  I loved aunt Ruth and always enjoyed seeing her either at the her house or when she would visit us in Overland park. She was a special aunt.

My Aunt Ruth was a very special Lady and a big part of my childhood days especially since I shared my birthdate June 6th with her and my twin DeDe. She was always sweet and happy. We are all so blessed God placed her in our family as I have a treasure of memories to carry in my heart. May you enjoy your peaceful journey Aunt Ruth, know you will be very missed.

Sincerest condolences to both, the LaMettery and Meyn families.  Ruth was a HUGE part of my childhood.  My Mom and her were co-Den Mothers when I was in Cub Scouts.  My Mom said many times over, that some of the funnest times in her life were running around with Ruth, looking for "stuff" for the next Cub Scout "project."  She was a Great Lady, and will be greatly missed.

Aunt Ruth had a good sense of humor, seemed to me she was always in a good mood with a smile on her face.  She was very religious and lived her life the way God asks all of us to.  She always had kind words, I never heard a harsh word from her.  Aunt Ruth is a huge part of my childhood memories as our families always got together for holidays and special events.  She was indeed a special person.
