Thomas Hunter Puckett, 57, passed away on May 1st, 2012, following a long and arduous struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. Hunter was the son of Marjorie Elizabeth Puckett and Thomas Puckett. Hunter attended the University of Kansas and was a member of the Phi Si Fraternity. As a young man he had an avid interest in cars and had the good fortune to have a career in the auto industry. He attained the position of managing partner for Jay Wolfe Acura of Kansas City. Hunter is remembered by friends and family for his zest for life and the many adventures he enjoyed with his friends. In the years after MS robbed him of his ability to leave his home, he was cared for by his wife Cindy, Tom Crilly and Chris Nash. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Murray Puckett, sons Thomas Puckett and Austin Puckett, and his mother Marjorie Puckett. He also leaves his sister, Elizabeth Page Puckett of Paris, France and his lifelong friend Jeff Wolfe. Funeral arrangements are: Friday, May 4th, 9-10am visitation, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. All services will be held at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 7023 W. 71st St., Overland Park, KS. Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
