He was an American patriot that bravely served as a combat medic, receiving four battle stars, the bronze star, and a purple heart during WW II. He was married to his “Little Lover,” Alleta (Chaney), for 42 years whom preceded him to heaven in 1989.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M., Friday, February 3, at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, Kansas. Visitation will be 1-2 P.M. prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, in Shawnee, KS, with full military honors.
Ted had a strong faith in the Lord and was actively involved in church throughout his life. Ted had a wonderful sense of humor that has blessed his family with a legacy of laughter. We would like to thank Sunflower Hospice for the loving care and support they provided.
