Theresa Maggio, 94, Overland Park, KS, passed away November 17, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM, Friday, November 22 at Church of the Holy Cross, 8311 W. 93rd Street, Overland Park. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Thursday, November 21 at McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park. The Rosary will be prayed at 6 PM.
Theresa was well-known for her talented craftwork in the area, and she loved to play bridge. She was a faithful member of Church of the Holy Cross and Leawood Women’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Maggio, in 1982. She is survived by: a daughter, Anita Maggio; sons, Joe Maggio and James Maggio; 2 grandchildren, Allison and Nicole Maggio; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
