Alan Easton Jones

Alan “Al” Easton Jones, 86, of Winter Springs, FL, entered the gates of heaven, on July 2nd, 2024 while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cumberland, MD on January 2nd, 1938. He graduated from Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, MD and was a remarkable wrestler at that time. Al was married to his high school sweetheart, Mary Lou Jones on July 17th, 1959, creating memories through love and laughter, which will last a lifetime. Al proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corp as Private First Class and thereafter had a career with NASA as a Property Disposal Manager, traveling the world. His passion for sports, football taking the lead, was shared with his family, gathering frequently to cheer together. His love for cars, notably Mustangs, always led to fun conversation.

Al was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Stella. Al is survived by his wife Mary Lou Jones of 65 years; his brother Doug Jones (Kathy Gould) and children Deborah (Terry) Bryant, Karen Jones, Lisa McGrath and Alan (Mandy) Jones. Blessed with an abundance of love, his grandchildren will keep his spirit alive; Heather (Rich) Scovel, Ryan McGrath, Renee (David) Beasley, Austin Dignen, Mary Bryant, Kristin (Gresham) Conway, Kaley (Noah) Darmata, Sean McGrath and Andi Jones. The love will continue to flow through his 8 great grandchildren.

The memorial service will be at 2:30 pm, August 5th, at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
