He is survived by his wife, Juliet, son, Zachary, parents, Paul and Sherry Price, and sister Paula Webb.
Bryan was raised in Garland, Texas and attended Louisiana Tech University where he graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Aviation.
Faith and family were the guiding principles of Bryan’s life, and both were his strength and safe harbor during his fight against cancer. He was a faithful member of CrossLife Church in Oviedo, and he always looked forward to participating in The Encouragers class. His love of the Lord was evident through not only what he said, but more importantly how he lived.
Bryan always dreamed of being a commercial pilot, and that dream was first realized when he was hired by CorpEx in 1998. By 2001 he moved to AirTran Airways, and then to Southwest Airlines in 2014. He loved his time in the air, and during his illness, would often watch longingly as the Southwest flights flew overhead.
If flying was his dream, coaching high school basketball was his passion. Bryan loved the game; he loved playing it; he loved the strategy; and he loved winning. But what he loved most of all was working with and mentoring young men through the game of basketball. The impact he made on the young men he coached is evident by how many called and texted him routinely to ask for advice, wish him well during birthdays and holidays, and to let him know they were continually praying for him during his fight. Bryan coached at Hampton Christian Academy in Hampton, Virginia 2006-2010, Norfolk Christian Schools in Norfolk, Virginia 2010-2015, and Oviedo High School in Oviedo, Florida 2015-2018.
Having been raised in Texas, there wasn’t a Texas professional sports team that he did not love to follow including his Cowboys and his Rangers. He was also a diehard fan for any team a former player went on to play for. Bryan enjoyed a wide range of Christian music from the classic hymns to the new, contemporary music. In addition, Bryan was a lifelong avid George Strait fan!
