Dear John, Caitlin, Conor, Mrs Bradley and other members of Claire's family,
I knew her for many years as Claire Bradley, going to school together at St Mary's, Northcote and Ponsonby. She was a kind, thoughtful human being, whose love for animals, baking and kiwiana will always stay with me. I have made a donation in her memory at the SPCA. I attach a photo taken sometime around 11-13 at my birthday party, so that others may see it who may not have known Claire as a child. It is hard to believe she is gone.

My deepest sympathy to all of Claire's family in Florida and Brisbane and in Wanganui here in New Zealand. I Louise nee Warren have known Claire since we started Secondary school at St. Mary's College in Ponsonby, Auckland and that was in 1977. As we were in different form classes I knew of Claire but during those years was closer to her sister Margaret. 
Claire and I became Friends on Facebook many years ago and always remember her replies to my posts and so uplifting and encouraging. Getting to know about you Caitlin as your Mum shared such loving and positive words about you. Will always remember her saying if she was in NZ for our wedding that she would of made our cake... 
So sad to read of her passing and shared quite a few tears over the past few days. Got out the St.Mary's College School year Books and have lots of photos to remember you with great fondness and memories. xxx Louise Sutherland

The Viles family is sad to lose our friend, Claire. Her love for all things will continue to shine brightly in the eyes of her daughter, Caitlin. She will be missed.

Claire was a member of our Wahine (kiwi women) group. We are a supportive group here in USA and enjoy all our kiwi sisters. Claire always helped others in our group with questions re baking and just being a great kiwi.  We will all miss her so much and send our deepest sympathies to John and Caitlin.

My deepest condolences to Claire’s family.  She was such an amazing person and friend.  She was an advocate for wild and domestic horses and burros.  She was a strong and diligent supporter for the voiceless and all in need.  Her gifts for baking were an expression of her art.  She was my transplant buddy and was always supportive and an inspiration to all who had the pleasure to know her. . I am reduce to tears thinking about the loss of her in my and others lives.  My prayers are with John and Catlin of whom she loved beyond words.  She has gone from an Angel on earth to an Angel in heaven.   ♥️🙏

A great friend, wife, and mother with such a good heart. Raised a beautiful daughter with compassion like you have to reach her goals in life. My friend, I will miss you. Have always enjoyed your company and many laughs. Thank you for being you, love you, and I will miss you. May you Rest In Peace.
