Hutch’s life was full of strong opinions, big passions, and a stubborn determination to do things his way. While he wasn’t always the easiest man to get along with, those who knew him best also knew of his sharp wit, his love of storytelling, and the way he poured himself into the things he cared about.
Born March 3, 1939, in Pennsylvania, to David Edgar Jr and Aberdeen Helene Hutchison. Hutch spent his formative years in Camp Hill, PA; later graduating from Susquehanna University with a degree in business. He started his career with Firestone and continued within the industry selling tires, parts, cars, trucks, and motorhomes. Married to Vicki on Friday, September 13, 1996, in Las Vegas.
Following his true passion – sports cars. Hutch was happiest when he was at Sebring International Raceway where he worked for more than 20+ years after moving from South Bend, IN to Sebring / Lorida FL in early 2003. During his life he owned many different sports cars, such as 1955 Speedster, 1965 Porche 914 and many others.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Hutchison; his sons Larry (Misha) Hutchison, Steve (Trish) Hutchison; Mike (Polly) Hutchison; stepdaughters Sue (Russ) Burgess; Pam (John) Feirick; and Marilyn (Chris) Roche; sister Aberdeen (Gary) Sabo.
