David Joshua Tackett Sr.

He was born on June 10, 1985 in Orlando. He was a loving father, son, brother, and grandson who was a avid fisherman, guitar player, and baseball coach. He was a general and roofing contractor who was considered a jack of all trades.

He is preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Creta Gallagher and his paternal grandparents, Perry and Marilyn Tackett.

David is survived by his mother and stepfather, Angela & Robin “Pops” Eakman; father, Michael Edward Tackett, Sr.; children Mackenzie Grace Tackett and David Joshua Tackett, Jr. grandmother, Regenna Kistner; siblings, Michael Tackett, Jr., Michelle Gomez, Nolan Obaker, Christina Robinson, Tyler Tackett, and Zachary Eakman. He is also survived by his loving girlfriend, Sydney Taub.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home in Oviedo. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Chuluota Cemetery.
