Douglas "Doug" Welch, age 57 of Orlando, passed away on October 9 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Syracuse NY, graduated from East Syracuse Minoa High School. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years Kathleen (Whitbread) Welch, daughters Kelly (Ray) Fernandez, Jennifer Welch, grandson Ramon Fernandez, mother Janet Welch of Fayetteville NY and brother Michael (Marlene), several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father William. He worked in the construction industry for 35 years and was an avid fisherman. Doug cherished his family, friends, his F-150, and the beach. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Oviedo Chapel with a service beginning at 7 PM.
