My moms dear friend of over 53 yrs. passed away Thursday morning and she’s taking it pretty hard. Unfortunately we won’t be able to go since it’s in Florida.
They met at Florida Tech University back in the mid 60’s where they both worked. They always remembered each other’s birthdays and were there for each other when their husbands passed away. In later years after my dad died, mom & Betty traveled all over the US, starting with an Alaskan Cruise. They had many fun adventures and made some great memories.
When mom & Betty quit driving, I’d take them out to eat when I was in town. They enjoyed each other’s friendship for many years. Thankfully, Betty called mom just last week.
Praying for all your family as you mourn her passing.
Love, Helen Wheeley, Becky Rasberry, Joe Wheeley & family.
