

Jesus S. Iglesias, 79, of Winter Springs, Florida, entered into the presence of the Lord on January 8th, 2023. He was born in Sagua la Grande, Cuba on September 3rd, 1943. He left Cuba in 1965 and immigrated to the United States where began working to support his family. He later received his Masters in Business Administration from Saint Joseph University in 1979 while working full time at Westinghouse.
He met the love of his life, Ana Maria, in Souderton,, Pennsylvania and were later married on April 1st, 1972. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past year. Jesus had a successful career in accounting and worked at Westinghouse for 25 years where he traveled the world. This was followed by nearly 20 years at Campus Crusade for Christ before retiring. When he wasn’t working, his time was devoted to his family and serving the Lord.
Jesus was a founding member, deacon, and treasurer at El Camino Baptist Church for 31 years. He had a servant’s heart and dedicated his life to love and serve the Lord. Jesus was dependable, selfless and enjoyed to make people laugh. He was always available to help, pray, and support anyone in need.
He is survived by his wife Ana, his sons, David and Danny Iglesias, his daughters in law, Jeniffer and Nicole, along with his beloved grandchildren, Sophie, Jonah, Isabella, Lucy, Aleyna, and Evan. He is also survived by his older brother Elio Iglesias.
Funeral arrangements will be held at noon, January 13th at El Camino Baptist Church.
Jesús S. Iglesias, de 79 años, de Winter Springs, Florida, fue recibido en la presencia del Señor el 8 de enero de 2023. Nació en Sagua la Grande, Cuba, el 3 de septiembre de 1943. Salió de Cuba en 1965 para los Estados Unidos donde empezo a trabajar para mantener a su familia. El luego recibió su Maestría en Administración de Empresas de la Universidad de Saint Joseph en 1979 mientras trabajaba a tiempo completo en Westinghouse.
El conoció al amor de su vida, Ana Maria, en Souderton, Pennsylvania y luego se casaron el 1 de Abril de 1972. El año pasado celebraron su 50 aniversario de bodas. Jesús tenía una carrera exitosa en contabilidad y trabajó en Westinghouse durante 25 años, donde viajó por el mundo. Seguidamente trabajo por casi 20 años en Campus Crusade for Christ antes de jubilarse. Aparte de su trabajo, era dedicado a su familia y al servicio del Señor.
Jesus fue uno de los miembros fundadores, diácono y tesorero de la Iglesia Bautista El Camino durante 31 años. Jesus era un servidor que siempre estaba disponible al servicio del Señor. El siempre fue confiable, dedicado y amaba hacer reír a la gente.
Le sobreviven su esposa Ana, sus hijos, David y Danny Iglesias, sus nueras, Jeniffer y Nicole, junto con sus amados nietos, Sophie, Jonah, Isabella, Lucy, Aleyna, y Evan. También le sobrevive su hermano mayor, Elio Iglesias.

A visitation for Jesus will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Iglesia Bautista El Camino Baptist, 5815 Cornelia Avenue, Orlando, FL 32807. A committal service will occur Friday, January 13, 2023 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL 32789. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 13, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 5815 Cornelia Avenue, Orlando, FL 32807.
