My condolences to the thomas family in their time of bereavement.  I will miss the days of seeing you, going with joann to pick you up or drop you off. Your slick interjections into our conversation when we thought you were sleeping.  Never a dull moment.  You will be missed. You raised a great family and your daughter is one of a kind. Its hard to say goodbye to love ones but were never really sperated were just moving closer to the almighty side.  You was always a second mom to me for years....My heart moaned when your daughter called me with the  news of your passing.  But only the Almighty know the hour of the day for us.  Your soul is free from pain and stress now and you'll  be in my heart until the almighty call my name.   RIP Mrs. Thomas.

As I sat and reflected on some of the wonderful times spent with Joan, several memories came to mind. 
I can recall visiting your home when I was on vacation from school. Later on my children also spent the holidays with you as well. We enjoyed every moment and our love goes out to you and your family.
Joan, you have gone to be with the Lord but the memories and time spent with you will forever stay with us.

My deepest Condolences To the Thomas Family. I'll miss you auntie Joan. thanks for all the memories.

My sister Joan was my guiding star. I could depend on her at all times especially when I sent my children during the Summer to spend time with her and her family in St. Thomas where she resided for most of her adult life before she migrated to Orlando, Florida to seek medical attention during her ailment. She took great care of them and made sure that they had an enjoyable vacation. 
We were very close to each other and spent many happy moments together as we reminisced about our childhood days picking mangoes, apples, guavas and many other fruits, milking the cows, picking wood for the oven, fetching water from the ghut and so on. We also stayed up late playing games and cracking jokes when I visited her in St. Thomas.
When she became ill and had to migrate to Orlando, I was so glad that I had the opportunity to visit her twice. I would always say to her to remember to put God first in everything that she did. She would always say that is what she did and that she trusted in him. Unfortunately, at the end of my Summer cruise, I was unable to visit her and present her with some coconut oil to aid in her medical condition. Shortly afterwards I was saddened by her passing. 
My sister and I had such a great relationship that I will surely miss her.  May your soul rest in peace, until we meet again in that great mansion in the sky.

Auntie Joan always acknowledged me as her first daughter and was quite proud to show me off to her many friends, which I appreciated greatly.  It was a  pleasure spending time with her during the holidays as we went shopping, visiting other family members, cooking together and just having fun. She always encouraged me to be the best that I can be. I loved her dearly!
As I visited her in Orlando during her illness, it was sad to see her deteriorate from the bubbly aunt that I knew. Even though she will be missed tremendously, I am glad that God has taken her out of her suffering to a better place where she'll feel no pain.
Rest in peace dear Auntie Joan, till we meet again around God's holy throne.

Vern, know that the Lord needed another angel. So he called on her. May God continue to bless you and your family. We will continue to pray for you and your loved ones Stay strong my Bro.

You would say  to me "did you had something to eat". and in minutes breakfast would be on the table. You will be greatly miss but never forgotten. I thank God for the time he has given us with you, and i know that we will meet around the throne of God. May your soul rest in eternal peace.

To the Thomas Family. Deepest condolences and heartfelt sorrows goes out to your family and friends. May God continue to strengthen you at this sorrowful time.  Ms. Thomas was a wonderful woman.  As a child growing up on "the hill", she was always on the porch with her trademark smile, when we came home from school in the afternoon.  She had a sweet spirit and she loved the LORD.  Continue to put your trust and faith in God and He will no doubt sustain you.  God bless!

My loving sister, friend and cousin, I will dearly miss you, but I understand your circumstances that you had to go home leaving us to mourn you.  An we will meet again in the near future on that resurrection day, so until my dear rest in the loving arms of Jehovah God until we see other again soon.

Joan thank you for 49 wonderful years together as husband and wife.  You were my foundation, you kept me grounded throughout the years and always treated me with nothing but respect.  Through this union the Lord blessed us with 6 wonderful children, which we taught to have repect for everyone they encountered.  It was a struggle when you got sick, but I had to be your strength in the times when you could not be.  I remember that during our numerous trips to and from the doctors, all of the nurses and doctors were all so fond of you.  I know in my heart that the Lord know that it was better to relieve you of your suffering, so he called you home.  And throughout it all you were always so thankful and never complained.....not even one day.  Although my heart is hurting, I am privileged to have known you and loved you for most of my life.  So my love until we meet again take your rest.

To my beloved sister whom I loved dearly.  I am really missing you and I will cherish the wonderful memories we shared with each other.  I was glad I was there to be with you during your last days.  We had a nice chat and plenty of laughter together, which meant the world to me.  I will always keep your memory in my heart, so rest in peace my beloved sister...until we meet on that beautiful shore.  I love you!!

Words can't express the lost that I am feeling right now.....my heart feels like it was ripped right out of my chest.  I lost my mother, my rock, my everything.  Everyone is telling me that you are in a better place, but how can I accept that I will no longer be able to see, touch, talk or laugh with you anymore.  I was blessed with 33 years of knowing this extraordinary lady who gave me life and I hope and pray that I will turn out to be at least half the woman that you were.  RIP Joannah "Joan" Thomas until we meet again!!

Not only were you a wonderful Aunt but you were also my second Mom.  I will never forget the life lessons you taught me regarding being a wife, mother and a God fearing person.  I can see your smile now lighting up the room. You were always such a genuine person and will be missed dearly.  I will love you always and with Jehovah's blessing we will meet again.

Thank you for being the best mother in the whole wide world.  You raised me from a boy into a man and taught me the the skills needed to be a successful man, husband and father to my family.  You took me under your wing taught me how to cook and instilled my passion for food.  I'm now one of the top chefs for Darden Restaurants a major corporation in the United States.  Mom and Dad, I could not ask for better parents.  As I raise my family you have set a great example for me.  You have been married for 49 wonderful years and have displayed what true love is.  God has truly blessed me to have such great parents.  Mommy rest in peace until we meet again.
