She was born in Mt. Union, Pennsylvania on May 21, 1956. Judy graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Krinks, father Reverend Dr. James W. Matz, mother Carol (Henry) Matz, and brother Jeff Matz. She is survived by daughters Melissa De La Lastra and husband Jose De La Lastra Sr., Kelly Hooper and husband Stephen Hooper, and Heather Krinks; sister-in-law Linda Matz, sister Jane Matz, and brother J.P. (Leslie) Matz. Also survived by 6 grandchildren: Nicolas Legge, Jose De La Lastra Jr., Ayanna Hooper, Mya Hooper, Sofia De La Lastra and Dominic Hooper; as well as several nieces and nephews. Judy was a lifelong educator having served her community as a Lamaze childbirth instructor and as a teacher in the public elementary sector. She had a passion for Pittsburgh Steelers football, cooking, and spending time with her beloved family. Celebration of life arrangements will be announced at a later date.
