Lee A. Fort, Jr.

Born in Orlando, Florida, Lee graduated from Lyman High School and then Seminole State College in 1998 when he began his career as a Certified Fitness Trainer.

Lee was passionate about staying healthy and helping others do the same naturally. He was dedicated to personal training and bodybuilding, which garnered many titles. Among his many honors included being the 2011 International Natural Bodybuilding Federation (INBF) Champion, 2014 Organization of Competition (OCB) National Bodybuilding Champion and 2015 International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA) Pro International Federation of Physique Athlete.

He was a perfectionist when it came to fitness, nutrition, food and personal training, and Lee made sure to match client needs with a tailored approach for their desired results.

Family and friends knew Lee as a loving, caring, supportive and passionate person. His nicknames included “Big Lee” and “Man.”

Lee accepted Christ at a young age at the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Orlando. His close relationship with his Lord and Savior brings comfort to his loved ones who will see him again in heaven.

Lee was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, friend, and “Papa” to his four-legged buddy, Pharaoh. He was his family's rock, always protecting them, advocating for them, and putting their needs before his own.

He leaves behind to celebrate his life: his loving mother, Jeana Rogers; inherited father, Doug Rogers; devoted brother, Djuan Fort (Cynthia); special niece, Kylia Danae’ Fort; stepbrother, Chris Rogers (Meagan); dear aunt, Eula Whitchard-Mack; uncle, Rickey Hunter (Judy); very best friend (brother), Kian Shafie (Bita); very dear friend, Cherisse Guialdo; and a host of other family members and friends. Lee was preceded in death by his father, Lee Fort, Sr. of Orlando, and aunt, Rose Mary (Cookie) Chambers of Orlando.
