My dear sister Lisa,

Today marks 3 months since you went to heaven. I miss you everyday. I randomly think of texting you to tell you about something I've seen or to tell you about my treatment...but I realize you already know and see everything.

I know you do not want me to be sad...but I miss you. I take some comfort knowing you are now free.

I love you, my dear sister...always.

Dear Lisa,
Yesterday we had your memorial and so many people came out to show their respects. I don't know how I did it but I was able to stand up and speak. I would like to think it was because you were standing with me guiding me through it. So many things I spoke about but knowing there was so much more to say. The time we spent together especially the honor of being with you at the end I will cherish for the rest of my life. Like I tell people, there was no other place I would have wanted to be but by your side until the end. Knowing you are with so many people in heaven like mom and dad will help ease the pain. I want to thank you for being an amazing sister and showing me there is so many ways to be strong even in tough times. Your strength through out these rough years of your life has shown me that I can find the strength in my life to go on. With you being my forever guardian angel I will be ok. When my life gets tough I will think of you and remember how tough you were and it will guide me through. When I get loud....I will remember your words...." It's NOT loud...it's love". Dear Maria and Family,
Words cannot express how I feel about Lisa's passing. I worked with Lisa in the 1990's at South Seminole Hospital and  again at MD Anderson Cancer Center. I have never met a more loving, sweet and compassionate lady. She was my hardest worker; she loved her cancer patients. 
Lisa was a loved member of our lab team. Her infectious smile inspired everyone.

Dear Lisa....when I look back to my younger days, there were lots of faces (some close, some not so close and most of whom I might be able to remember their names), but there are only a few faces that I can look back upon and could truly call my friend. I believe we first met playing softball (Pegasus) in either 5th or 6th grade. Then you, Trish and I became band mates for life at both UPJH and CHS. I think everyone would agree (at least back in the band days) that whenever you walked into the band room, you never saw one of us without the other. We were the three musketeers in life, music and friendship. Of course, I will always remember our love for Styx (and Journey). I will never forget the mirror that you gave me, you painted Styx on it and I thiught it was the coolest thing and I'm pretty sure that made us soul mate for life. As I hear the song Come Sail Away I just know that you in Heaven right now sailing with all the Angels! I will forever miss you. Rest In Peace my friend.  Love you Always, Terry ❤❤❤❤❤

It's hard to think of Lisa as being gone.  Ever since I was little, she was always just a big kid in my mind, and I kind of just assumed she'd be young forever.  To this day, I can't watch a Looney Tunes short without being reminded of the countless times she babysat us, and they were never as funny without her.  I'm also quite sure I wouldn't have half the appreciation I have for 80's hair bands without having grown up around Lisa.  It also makes me smile to think that, though most people call me Dave now, she was definitely the first.  Love you, Cous'

my beloved aunt lisa, i still can't believe you're gone.   you haven't left my mind since i had to walk out of that hospital last wednesday.  you touched the lives of so many and we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  i'm devastated that you won't be in the crowd at my college graduation this december but i'm grateful for all the moments we shared together. i know you and grandma and grandpa will be watching me graduate from the best seat in the house.  you were so beautiful, inside and out.  i promise that even though i won't be attending your funeral service, i will be wearing yellow saturday october 21 in honor of you.  i will be putting your ashes in an urn charm and putting it on the necklace with grandmas fingerprint charm, that way the two of you will be with me always.  i love you and i miss you so much. forever and always

My love and prayers go out to the Sciaino Family.  We all (both families) shared a lot of good times together and I will always keep those memories close to heart. I love you all. Rest In Peace my dear friend.

I want to thank everyone for their kind words, thoughts and prayers. I like to think that my mom and dad just missed Lisa way too much and she was called to heaven to be with all our loved ones there. She will be missed every single day and I'll cherish all the times we spent together. As far back as I can remember, music was our passion and connection. I remember sitting in front of the old console radio that was as big as a dresser and the record player didn't work but we would listen to America's top 40 and other radio shows seeing who could guess the song the fastest... She always won. She was awesome. She encouraged me to write songs and play my music. We liked a lot of the same rock bands growing up and would share a new band or new song whenever one of us heard it. I put together a special CD for the service next Saturday and most of the songs are based on our musical connection and the songs she loved from the bands she loved. I added a few that I personally chose to honor her the best way I know how. Her nieces pitched in with a couple requests as well as my little sister. It'll be different for sure than any other music you might hear at these types of services but Lisa was different and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Even though there are a few sad songs, Lisa wouldn't want us to be sad. She always cared about everyone else first and foremost. If you know Lisa you'd know she'd be 100% fine with the rock and roll song selection too. Please join us to celebrate Lisa's life. We were so lucky to have her in our lives. I love and miss you Beep more than you'll ever know. Until we meet again. I owe you one heck of a hug!!! Tell mom and dad we love and miss them too. I know you are up there smiling with them. You always had those perfect teeth;)... Until then, keep looking out for us especially your Jordy.... I love you!!!!!

Lisa may you RIP , I will always love you and miss you terribly . Although we haven't seen eachother in 9years , our text messages and phone conversations and FB messaging will always be with me . You were always very supportive of me and kept routing me on . Lisa I'm so glad you and I got close over the years growing up .. please tell everyone in heaven I love and miss them all!! I don't use the word blessed ever, but blessed is the only way to describe how I feel to have had Lisa as a part of my family and to have been able to grow up with her in my life. I used to tell her over and over that she was my favourite cousin Lisa, and she would tease me back that she was my only cousin Lisa. But she was simply my favourite. She was and will always be one of the brightest and most vibrant people I will ever know. I love you, Lisa.
