There’s a verse in the Bible that says something along the lines of if your mother and your father abandons you, with everything Jehovah will take you in.  My grandmother took me in at a moment of my life in which I felt completely abandoned. At fifteen years old, with all my struggles, my grandma took me in and made me feel loved and nurtured. She never once made me feel like a burden or that I didn’t belong. On the contrary, she made me feel like she’s been waiting for me her whole life. I will for ever be grateful to her and will hold dear to my heart everything she taught me. I am who I am because of her. I love  you, Abuela. I will miss you. 

I remmber when I took a pot from mommys house. The pot was big I need it took cook some rice and beans for Aidens b-day. But of course the pot was not mommys it was my aunt's. And grandma happened to have it and brought the pot to mommys house. Long story short grandma askeds for the pot over 2 years I never had the heart to tell that I ruined it. I told mommy and she said to grandma that she will get her another one. My abuela cherished everything even things that were not her  I will remmber that about her.

Aunque la extrañamos muchísimo, Jehová promete que quienes han muerto vivirán de nuevo (Isaías 26:19). Él hará que vuelvan a la vida; en eso consiste la esperanza de la resurrección. Tengo fe y esperanza de verla muy pronto!

My dear grandmother was the most loving, caring and humble woman. Always eager to learn - she was on Facebook, was a Candy Crush pro and loved to play Solitaire. She created a legacy like no other. As much as it hurts me to to have her, I am at ease she is lo longer in pain, nor suffering.

We are so very sorry to hear of Lourdes passing. She was such a gentle loving lady who lived next door to us. We would always see her tending to her garden. Her memory will be with us as we watch the plant cuttings she gave us growing in our own garden. We send prayers for comfort and peace to Eduardo and all the family. Rest in peace with the Lord, dear friend.
