Luke was born on July 29, 1982 at Florida Hospital to Patricia Evelyn Davis and Luther Gray Davis. He graduated from University High School, class of 2000. Received his A.S. degree from Valencia College and was intermittently pursuing his B.A. from Rollins College with his most passionate interest Organizational Psychology in Business. At the time of his passing, he was a Data Analyst Manager for New York based Health First where he was devoted to work excellence and cultivated many strong relationships over the last 5 years. Passionate about healthcare excellence, Luke made time to serve on the Orlando Health Patient & Advisory Council and was interviewed for their Annual Report in June 2021.
Luke was an amazing family man and a very devoted father and partner. He and his partner Timothy Gerald Collins were blessed with 12 wonderful years and together raised one child Keagen Alexander Greene-Collins and many 4-legged fur children.
Luke, a very sociable person, was always considered the life of the party. He was deeply involved in the lives of his family, friends, and peers often adding new friends on a daily basis. A supportive fatherly figure to several he was proud to mentor. His favorite hobbies included open water boating with a cold drink, interstate travels to catch up with friends and family, and lots of down time at the gun range.
He will always be remembered for his huge generous heart as well as being an opinionated, often hardheaded person in the most important matters. Forever affectionately remembered for his “dad jokes” and the laughter and love he brought those closest to him.
Luke was preceded in death by his father, Luther Gray Davis of Kentucky and his grandmothers: Stella Jenkins of Ohio & Sue Turner Robinson of Georgia.
Luke is survived by his partner Timothy Collins and son Keagen Greene-Collins; his mother Patricia Evelyn Robinson Davis and his sister Cherilyn Davis Ramos and his nephew Demitrius Alexander Lestat Ramos.
Luther Gray Davis’ widow: Kathleen Davis; Stepbrothers: Christopher Rizzo and Cory Dowling (Sandra); Stepsister: Stacie Kingsley (Wes). Also, Luke left too soon many brokenhearted among his large extended family consisting of extended relatives and friends that are far too numerous to list.
A celebration of life will be set at a later date.
