Margo R Evans

Margo R. Evans, age 81, of Oviedo, Florida passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Margo was born to Reta Merner and Francis J. Gross on April 26, 1944. She grew up in Paterson City, New Jersey with one brother, Mickey Gross. She moved down to Tarpon Springs, Florida during her high school years and after graduation, she attended the University of Florida on a scholarship. She met and married Richard Evans on July 26, 1968. They moved to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and had their 1st daughter, Kimberly, in 1975 and their 2nd daughter, Jennifer, in 1977. Margo then completed a bachelors degree at Florida Atlantic University and soon after, obtained her CPA license.

She worked for the Diocese of Palm Beach for over 25 years and was very active in her Church. She loved accounting but also had a talent for sewing and she loved going to the beach. Margo is survived by her brother, Mickey Gross, her 2 children, Kim Walsh and Jennifer Evans, and her grandchildren, Cameron, Noah and Sadie.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill, 2420 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817 Following the memorial service will be a committal service where she will be placed at Chapel Hill at 11:00 AM. The service will be followed by a celebration of life luncheon at Tibby’s New Orleans Kitchen; 2203 Aloma Ave, Winter Park, FL 32792 All are welcome!!!
