He was born in Orlando on April 19, 1958.
Mark graduated from Oviedo High School and received technical training in digital fiber optics.
He married Sunday Leigh Graham Burleson on June 26, 2015.
In December of 2020, Mark retired from a 41-year career with Century Link, now Lumen.
He had a passion for caring deeply for his family, loving on his grandkids, spending time in the woods and around a fire with family and friends, helping others whenever the need arose, and loving life. He enjoyed classic movies and westerns, tinkering in his barn, managing cattle, deer hunting, and overall flourishing in his recent years of retirement.

Mother: Elma Marie Cohen Burleson (preceded in death by George Jerome Burleson, his father)
Wife: Sunday Leigh Graham Burleson
Sons: Jacob Jerome Burleson (Natalie Burleson) and Matthew William Burleson (Stephanie Burleson)
Daughters by marriage: Allison April Simes (Nick Simes), Jessica Leigh Loe, Rebekah Ellen Yates (Connor Yates), and Sharon Lynn Loe
Grandchildren: Tyler Jerome Burleson, Lily Beth Burleson, Samuel James Burleson, Blake Owen Burleson, Zachary Noah Burleson, Cameron Luke Burleson, and Ryan Parker Burleson
Brother-in-law: John Lee (preceded in death by Gail Lynn Lee, his sister)
Visitation with the family will be held at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home on Mitchell Hammock Road on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Graveside service for family and close friends on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 10:30 AM.
