

She was born in Petoskey, Michigan on November 7th, 1932.
Marlene graduated from Traverse City High School and received her B.A. from Concordia University Chicago.
She married Allen Freudenburg on June 30, 1957.
Marlene had a career as a Missionary for Lutheran Bible Translators. She was also a member of Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and she had a passion for crocheting, quilting and baking.
She is survived by her children, David Freudenburg (Claudia), Mark Freudenburg (Susan), and Cathy Miller (Eric); her grandchildren Whitney Morrow (Jordan), Ryan Freudenburg (Emily) and Anna Freudenburg; sister Mary Dierker.
Everyone is invited to the memorial service for Marlene Freudenburg on Sunday, April 19 at 3:00 pm at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Oviedo, Florida. A reception at the church will follow. The service will be live streamed on the YouTube channel of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.
