

Maureen was born in New York, NY on June 23, 1932, to Anne (Watters) and Patrick Molloy. Maureen graduated from St. Clare’s School of Nursing in 1954 as a Registered Nurse and worked at St Clare’s Hospital in New York, NY and Mid-Island Hospital in Bethpage, NY holding various positions including Nursing Supervisor.
Maureen married Daniel J. Fullan on January 9, 1960, in Amityville, NY. After having four daughters, they moved to Yorktown Heights, NY in 1967, where Maureen became an active member of St. Patrick’s Parish and Elementary School. She held various volunteer positions such as Mothers Guild President, Parish Council President, School Secretary, CCD Teacher, and Eucharistic Minister. Additionally, she greatly enjoyed her involvement with Day-by-Day Agape (DDA) Youth Retreats, in Garrison, NY, where she served as Retreat Leader, and Center Secretary.
In 2002, Maureen moved to Orlando, Florida where she joined St. Stephen Catholic Community, and served as Eucharistic Minister. She lovingly led the Eucharistic Ministry to the Sick program, and was a member of the Church’s Women of Wisdom group.
Maureen spent as much time with her family as possible, including school plays, Marching Band performances, career day events, and Graduations. She never missed an opportunity to visit Walt Disney World.
Maureen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dan, and her twin daughters, Mary Kathleen and Theresa Patricia, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Maureen is survived by her loving sister Patricia Nappi of Westfield, NJ; her daughters, Mary Wheeling, of Milford, CT, Norine Plastow (Dave) of Fenton, MI, Cathleen Fullan of Duncansville, PA, and Eileen Scully (Brian) of Oviedo, FL. She adored her six Grandchildren: Amanda Sheehan (Paul); Kenneth Wheeling (Stefanie); Kathryn Shibler (Tim); Julia, Jack, and Daniel Scully. She loved her seven Great Grandchildren: Hayden and Hunter Sheehan; Carter, Calvin and Claire Wheeling; and Natalie and Audrey Shibler. She will be greatly missed by her caregiver, Ruth Morton, whose kind and compassionate care over the last two years was a tremendous blessing. The family would like to offer special thanks to the AdventHealth Hospice team.
Maureen will always be remembered for selflessly serving others, a quality which she passed on to her daughters. Her beautiful smile, warm and giving heart will be remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her.
