Nadine Marie Parks Bagwell passed away on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was born in Clearfield, PA to Kenneth H. & Jessie Parks who preceded her in death. When she was 18 she joined the U.S. Army and served as a P.F.C. WAC in Ft. Meade Maryland. There she met the love of her life, Carl Bagwell, and they married July 30th, 1959. They were happily married for 61 years until Carl’s passing in 2020.
Nadine and Carl lived in various cities and states during their 61 year marriage finally settling in Daytona Beach Florida, close to the ocean she so loved. An avid and talented artist she enjoyed painting and won several ribbons while showcasing her artwork in various art shows. She enjoyed playing piano, reading, and was always interested in learning new things. She loved spending her spare time with good friends, her children and grandchildren and her beloved Carl.
Nadine is survived by her children, Tracy L. (Bagwell) West and her spouse, Michael A. West, and Eric B. Bagwell and his wife, Karen (Pray) Bagwell. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Alaina (West) Trapp, Alex West, Katie West, Evan Bagwell and Leah Bagwell as well as two great-grandsons, Landon Trapp and Carson Trapp. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bagwell, her parents, Kenneth H. & Jessie Parks, sister Rowena (Parks) Luzier, and brothers Wayne Parks and Philip Parks.
Nadine was a lover of animals and nature. She regularly donated food and money to the local humane society. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to your local humane society in her name.
