Richard Greenwood

Richard G. Greenwood, 79, of Oviedo, Florida passed away on Monday, May 22nd, 2023 after many years of illness. He was born in Laconia, New Hampshire on July 11, 1943. Richard graduated from Stetson University with a BBA in Accounting and Administration, as well as an MBA from Rollins College. He was married to Elaine Guenette on June 15, 1967.

Richard was a CPA who specialized in Financial Leadership and Human Resources, and served as CFO for Residence Management, Inc., and Controller for Horizon Behavioral Services, Inc., Morley Properties, Inc., and Area Controller for the Pepsi Cola Bottling Group. He was a member of the National and Orlando Area Association of CPAs, and had a passion for the Boston Red Sox and collecting coins. He had a quick wit and enjoyed puns and jokes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Greenwood and Gerard “Joe” Greenwood, and his sister Gail Leeper. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, son Drew Greenwood of Orlando, daughter Ann K. Burns of Dallas, and three grandchildren: Jack, David, and Lucy.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Labre Indian School in Ashland, Montana.
