Richard Francis Parente Jr. “Richie”, of Oviedo, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Born on April 30, 1980, in Avon Park, Florida, Richie was a devoted husband, loving father, loyal son, and cherished brother whose presence lit up every room he entered.
Richie’s greatest joy was his family. He was a deeply loving husband to his wife, Rose, and a proud father to their children, Stella and Eric. His family was the center of his world, and everything he did was grounded in his love and dedication to them.
He was known for his sharp wit, quick humor, and generous spirit. Richie had a magnetic personality and the kind of warmth that made people feel instantly at ease. A passionate sports fan, he especially loved cheering on the New York Mets. He treasured time spent with his family at Disney, on Disney cruises, and watching the sunset over Siesta Key—a place that brought him peace and joy.
Richie was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served faithfully as a leader and friend. His strength, compassion, and quiet conviction made a lasting impact on everyone he served alongside.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Parente; his children, Stella and Eric; his mother, Wendy; and his siblings: Melissa, Christopher, Adam, Michael, Celestial, and Star. He was welcomed into heaven by his father, Richard Parente Sr., his brother, Joseph, and many loved ones.
Richie’s life was defined by love, laughter, and service. Though he is no longer with us, the legacy he leaves behind lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
