

Robert John Dudas, 74, of Maitland, Florida, passed away on May 1, 2026. Born on September 11, 1951, in Munhall, Pennsylvania, Robert lived a life defined by dedication to his family, his faith, and his community.
Robert was a proud graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
On July 19, 1980, he married the love of his life, Deborah Batts Dudas, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures.
He built a distinguished career as a Distribution Manager with Orange County Utilities and American Water Works. Robert dedicated 33 years of service to the county before retiring in August 2018, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues through his strong work ethic and leadership.
A devoted member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Robert’s faith was a guiding force throughout his life. He found great joy in spending time with his family and friends, traveling, and playing golf. Known for his warm spirit and ability to bring laughter to those around him, Robert leaves behind countless cherished memories.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Dudas; his mother, Barbara C. Dudas; his sister, Barbara A. Dudas; and his son-in-law, Timothy Tarpley.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Dudas; his daughters, Jennifer and Melanie; and his two grandchildren, Michael (16) and Kyle (8), who brought him immense pride and happiness.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on June 6, 2026, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Robert will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his legacy of joy, kindness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
